Katrina Yap

CPE Supervisor Education Fellow

Katrina's pastoral care ministry is in the marketplace and her passion and advocacy is in promoting mental and spiritual health in the workplace. She lives in the Philippines and is the Managing Director of InfoCom Asia Pacific, a market research and ICT consulting firm that is based in Germany and with its APAC regional headquarters in Manila. In parallel, she is also the Co-Founder of Vanderpol Center for Leadership and Pastoral Formation. Through this organization, she provides Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy, Pastoral Counseling, Corporate Chaplaincy, Mentoring, and Executive Coaching services to companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations together with her CPE-trained colleagues. Katrina's vision is to combine both her corporate and pastoral care experiences to promote and develop Corporate Chaplaincy for the Asian context and to train leaders, people managers, pastoral caregivers, and spiritual mentors to provide holistic care to individuals in the Southeast Asian marketplace setting. To realize this dream, Katrina is currently a CPE Supervisor Education Fellow under the Graduate Academy of CPE Supervision and co-supervises CPE programs in the Philippines through Vanderpol Center, an accredited learning center by CSCPF. She is also working through her hybrid Masters-Doctorate program in Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy with the SCA-University of Theology & Spirituality and hopes to achieve her degrees by 2022. When she's not working, studying, and serving, Katrina loves to travel and feels most alive in a multi-cultural environment. She loves cooking, quiet walks, her dogs, lazy Sundays, her modern family, and her lifelong friends.
